Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGM)

These resources are specifically about Real Time CGM, this is different to Flash Glucose Monitoring (Libre which you can read about here.

Flash or CGM is now approved for use by all with Type 1 Diabetes. In general practice we can prescribe Libre 2 or Dexcom One sensors. Other forms of CGM are available but can only be started by specialists.

The Diabetes Technology Network UK are a branch of the Association of British Clinical Diabetologists.  They have produced programme on the use of Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) particularly focusing on its use in Pregnancy.
