Wellbeing Wednesdays

Our team is only small and so group sessions are a great way to reach more people. Our last session at The Bridge in Milford on Sea is on the 30th April. From June we will be running these group sessions from Brockenhurst Village Hall. 


We have limited space for each session so it is important that everyone planning to attend signs up using the form below.

The Role of the Pharmacy Team in Your GP Practice: What You Need to Know

Peter Williams (Clinical Pharmacist) and Lauren Nickel (Pharmacy Technician) will introduce patients to the pharmacy team within their GP practice and explain how they contribute to high-quality, accessible healthcare. It will cover the different roles within the team, including Clinical Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians, and highlight the services they provide, such as medication reviews, long-term condition management, and prescription support.

Patients will learn how the pharmacy team works alongside GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication use.

From June our sessions will be held at Brockenhurst Village Hall

Pre-Diabetes

Dr Neil Moody-Jones will host a session discussing Pre-diabetes covering the following areas:

  • What is pre-diabetes?
  • How to reduce sugar levels through simple diet changes
  • Reduce your risk of Developing Type 2 Diabetes

July 30th 1-2pm

Bridging the Gap: Community and Healthcare Support for the Elderly

Debbie Powell (Social Prescriber) and Clare Richardson (Care Navigator) will be running a face to face session which will explore the collaboration between healthcare services and community support to enhance the well-being of older adults.

It will cover key challenges faced by the elderly, including access to healthcare, social isolation, and care coordination. Attendees will gain insights into how healthcare professionals, caregivers, and community organisations can work together to improve outcomes for the ageing population.
