You have been invited to attend a Group Menopause Consultation
The group consultation session will last for 90 minutes and will be held in the Iris suit, just around the corner from the Wistaria Surgery entrance (in the old red cross building) in Lymington.
The Group consultation will be facilitated by Lucy Butterworth, who has worked for many years as a midwife, and she is now training to be a Physician Associate, along with Dr Camilla Janssen, a GP with a special interest in Menopause and women’s health.
Dr Janssen will carry out a 1 to 1 consultation for each attendee, all delivered via the group setting, offering a prescription if appropriate. Maximum of 8 patients. This will give everyone a chance to learn from each other, ask questions and enables peer to peer support, offering more time with the trained clinician than the normal 10-minute appointment. It is a safe, confidential space to discuss issues related to the Peri/Menopause. Everyone will need to sign a confidentiality agreement prior to the session.
Preparation for the session
Read information in this link prior to the group consultation.
Download the questionnaire and bring this to the appointment with you, along with an up-to-date Blood Pressure, weight, and height.
Please note there is also a new monthly menopause café drop-in session, offering peer support and menopause information. This will be run by our social prescribers monthly on a Tuesday morning, from St Barbes Museum, Lymington.
If you don’t feel you can benefit from a group consultation, please re-book via reception.
