Clinical Pharmacist

Pete Williams joins the Primary Care Network (PCN) as a Clinical Pharmacist.

Pete is the second addition to our growing network joining Lee who is already working as a Social Prescriber..

Find out more about Pete's role by clicking the link below.

New Forest Primary Care Network is a collaborative project involving the following GP Surgeries:

  • Lyndhurst Surgery
  • New Forest Medical Group (Brockenhurst & Sway)
  • Chawton House Surgery (Lymington)
  • Wistaria and Milford Surgeries (Lymington & Milford on Sea)

If you are a patient at one of these surgeries then you live within the New Forest Primary Care Network and can benefit from the services on offer which will hopefully develop further in the future.

Our initial focus is on the provision of Social Prescribing.  We are also working on various other projects as a group which should benefit the health and wellbeing of our local community.

Check out our Network Calendar which we hope to fill with local events and resources.  We also have a Network Map which we hope to build on in the future helping show what opportunities there are in our local area.

If you run a group or are involved with an organisation that you think we should recommend to people then get in touch.

Update May 2020:

Our Primary Care Network (PCN) is developing with the additional role of a Clinical Pharmacist.  Pete Williams joins the team in this role having worked locally for many years.

It is a difficult time for a new member to be joining the team in the midst of the Coronavirus pandemic but we think he will be a great asset to the PCN.  His expertise will help us to look after you in new ways and will enable us work even more effectively with local hospitals and your own pharmacy.

Social Prescribing

Lee Rand is a Social Prescriber and the first employee of the Primary Care Network.

Lee is working across the Network to help signpost people to things going on which may be of benefit to individuals and groups.

If you’re a patient at one of our practices you can now use the new NHS App, a simple and secure way to access a range of NHS services on your smartphone or tablet.

You can use the NHS App to check your symptoms and get instant advice, book appointments, order repeat prescriptions, view your GP medical record and more.

If you already use eConsult and/or Patient Access you can continue to use it. You can use the NHS App as well.
